St. Michael’s

Everyone will find a warm welcome in our church. The church is largely made up of adults, but we are finding that more young people and families are making St Michael’s their spiritual home following the Baptism of Children.

People from whatever background are welcomed and encouraged to have a living and growing relationship with God through Jesus Christ; we are called by God to offer hospiltality, which do at the end of each service and through our weekly Grapeive Cafe which is held on the same site each Wednesday morning.

We believe that God continues to speak to us through the Bible – His inspired Word. So Biblically based preaching and teaching forms a central part of our worship and other church activities..

At this time we don’t have a Sunday School; although there are craft activities available for children in each service.

A group meets on a Tuesday morning to study various books of the Bible.  The Vicar took over the leading and teaching of the Tuesday Bible Study Group in November 2023.

A number of groups from the community use our halls on a regular basis.

We are also involved with the local community through our links with our local schools.

There is a ministry team of a the Vicar, Associate Minister, a Priest with PTO (permission to officiate) plus two occasional worship leaders and preachers.
